Negotiations continues between Indiana Regional Medical Center and the union that represents their nurses.
Indiana Registered Nurses Association President Kathy Wolfe, a pediatric nurse, said in a statement that both sides last night moved closer to an agreement on issues like paid leave, but added that there is still work to do. Indiana Regional Medical Center has not released a public statement on last night’s session.
The nurses are working under a contract that expired on October 31st. Additional negotiation sessions are set for tomorrow and December 20th, with both sides discussing further talks taking place in January if needed.
