Westmoreland County Judge Christopher Feliciani accepted a plea deal in the case of a 2016 car crash that killed an 8-year-old Derry boy.
In court yesterday, 33-year-old Adam Duffy pleaded guilty to felony homicide by vehicle while under the influence, aggravated assault while DUI and two DUI counts for the crash on June 27th of 2016. Duffy had several controlled substances in his system when his SUV collided with a car at a traffic light on Route 22 near New Alexandria, killing 8-year-old Augustus Anderson and critically injuring his father Anthony.
Duffy faces a sentence of five to ten years in prison.
