An Allegheny Township couple brought their newborn son into the world under some trying circumstances.
KDKA-TV Reports that, earlier this week, Bobby and Lindsay Elliott were en route to the hospital for the baby’s arrival, but fearing they would not make it in time, pulled into the nearest parking lot they could find, a 7-11 lot, where they asked the assistant manager to call 911. With the operator giving directions over the phone, Bobby was able to deliver the baby and then they were rushed to the hospital by an ambulance, arriving minutes after baby Beau Elliott was born.
Everyone’s doing okay, and Beau is expected to head home today.
