With the storm comes some slick roads, and State Police are reminding people to be cautious on the roads.
State police say that if the snowfall does come through as predicted, it may be the best idea to stay off the roads and avoid any unnecessary travel on Saturday. They also say it would be a good idea to give your car a checkup by looking at the tire tread, lights, and fluid levels, along with checking your battery’s strength.
State Police also recommend that you carry a safety kit that includes flashlight, jumper cables, bottled water, ice scraper, shovel, gloves, blanket and first aid supplies.
Also be careful of your speed while driving, and be especially cautious when encountering plow trucks and emergency vehicles.
