Your financial support is always needed to help and care for Animals who are looking for a loving home.  Animals are coming to shelters in record numbers. Financial support is needed for veterinary cost, animal care cost and housing.

The proceeds from the Spaghetti Eating Contest go to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. Let's get out those appetites and join in the fun. September 19, 2010. The Contest starts at 3:00 pm. Stop by Rizzo's or the shelter for a registration. 3:00 pm, at Rizzo's Malabar Inn

Humane Society of Westmoreland County and homeless pets need your help. The Humane Society is accepting donations and also selling Entertainment and Enjoy Books.

You can make a monetary donation or donate a needed item.

Laundry detergent
Dish detergent
Paper towels
Bleach
Stainless steel bowls
Dog treats
Chew toys and rawhide chews
Cat treats
Litter
Litter pans
Towels, quilts, comforters, blankets

The Humane Society does not need food because many animals are on special diets. The Humane Society donates any pet food donations to the food bank for the less fortunate.

This year consider doing something extra for the homeless animals of the Humane Society of Westmoreland County. Monetary donations go to PO Box 1552, Greensburg, PA 15601. Drop off items at the shelter. Route 119N behind Lynch Field, Greensburg.
