WHJB Sports Announcer

As a former high school football player and a student of the game since I was young, I am absolutely thrilled to be broadcasting high school football to listeners in Westmoreland County.
I graduated from Derry Area High School in 2003 where I was named an all-conference player my senior year and also served as a captain. I’m currently attending school in Pittsburgh working towards a degree in marketing.
My broadcasting career began at the age of 15 where I started as a game engineer working for our stations in Indiana, PA. Since then I have served as a morning news anchor, field reporter, DJ, play-by-play and color commentator for football and baseball, and hosted a sports-talk show.
Through my experience in relating to people in Westmoreland County, I don’t know a more passionate place for high school football. With that in mind; myself, Mike Mallory, and the rest of our staff work hard each and every week to bring you a top-notch broadcast of the game we all love.
Looking forward to bringing you all the thrills, heartbreaks, and hard hits throughout the year.
