A Uniontown priest was permanently removed from his duties by the diocese, and will not be allowed to return as a priest in any capacity.
The Tribune-Review reports that a 50-year-old allegation of abuse against the Reverend James Clark was found to be credible and substantiated. This goes back to when he was a janitor at the St. James School in Apollo.
Clark was removed from his post as parochial vicar for five Uniontown-based parishes back in late June when the accusations came to light, and the permanent suspension came recently.
