A woman from Donora pleaded guilty in court yesterday to charges of simple assault and conspiracy in connection with an attack on her sister’s husband back in July of 2017.
The Tribune-Review reports that Janet Toth made the guilty plea yesterday, which matched the same plea as her sister, Barbara Gelet for the same incident. Police say that Toth helped her sister toss a pot of boiling water in the face of Barbara’s husband David, and the two women also attacked him with a knife and a hammer.
Barbara Gelet was sentenced earlier this year to 6-23 months in jail. Toth will be sentenced at a later date, but David has requested she get the same sentence as his estranged wife.
