A Latrobe man will head to trial in March for his part in a robbery that resulted in the death of a man nearly three years ago.
The Tribune-Review reports 20-year-old Colin Gearhart will have jury selection for his trial start on March 11th for his second-degree murder trial.
Gearhart is charged with the shooting death of Daniel McNerny. McNerny was shot and killed while trying to break up a robbery attempt in front of Gearhart’s home on St. Clair Street.
Co-conspirator Austin Krinock was found guilty of second-degree murder back in August and will be sentenced next week, while the other co-conspirator, 23-year-old Zachary McGrath, will face trial in January.
