WRITE-IN CANDIDATES TO PLAY PART IN MURRYSVILLE AND DELMONT 2025 GENERAL ELECTIONS

Write-in candidates will play a part in the 2025 general election for borough council races in Murrysville and Delmont.  The Trib reports that in Murrysville, Jamie Lingg did not get enough votes on the GOP Ballot, but according to unofficial election results, she received 54 write-in votes, putting her on the ballot with Darren Miller, Jason Lemak and Michael Korns.  While in Delmont, two former council members Pamela Simpson and Julie Walczer received enough write-in votes to join the other two candidates on the ballot.
