The Westmoreland County comprehensive plan will soon be made available to the public.
The Tribune-Review reports that the plan, titled “Reimagining Our Westmoreland,” is expected to be unveiled on October 29th and will be on public display. The plan’s objective was to identify needs to bolster population, job growth, recreation opportunities and other ways to improve the quality of life for county residents.
This is the result of two years of work, including public information sessions.
Two open houses will be held at the Palace Theater on November 1st to give people a chance to look at the plan. The plan is expected to be approved in mid-December.
