A Derry man is now facing charges of terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct and careless driving after an incident on September 18th on Route 30 in Unity Township.
State Police filed the charges against 43-year-old Michael E. Reffo. Troopers say a Derry woman and her son were travelling on Route 30 and when they approached the intersection of Routes 30 and 982 and they noticed a truck behind them driving erratically and tailgating them. The victims told police that Reffo pulled alongside of them, pulled out a handgun, and threatened them before pulling away.
Reffo claims that he had a black cell phone in his hand, but did admit that a gun was in the car at the time.
A preliminary hearing is set for November 27th.
