Groundbreaking ceremonies for a new playground at Northumberland Park in Allegheny Township will be held Tuesday at 1:30.
The Tribune-Review reports that the $75,000 playground will be located next to a new pavilion at the park. Most of the project is being funded by CNX Resources Corporation and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
Construction on the park will start in early spring and finish later in the season.
