A man who was revived from a drug overdose by emergency responders now faces charges of receiving stolen property, possessing a firearm without a license and theft from a motor vehicle.
State Police said that charges were filed against 23-year-old Nicholas Colamarino of Export. He faces those charges after an incident Sunday in Hempfield. Emergency workers trying to revive Colamarino found the gun, which was turned over to police before he was taken to Excela Health Westmoreland Hosptial.
After his release from the hospital, he was arraigned and placed in Westmoreland County Prison after failing to make $5,000 bail. A hearing is set for October 31st.
