PennDOT District 12 is getting ready for the upcoming winter season, but they are looking for people to drive the trucks to help keep the roads clear.
PennDOT stated that they plan on using about 80,000 tons of salts on roads throughout the district, which includes Westmoreland, Fayette, Washington, and Greene counties. While snowplow training was held yesterday in Unity Township, PennDOT is looking for 48 CDL drivers to help out over the winter months.
