The third member of a Greensburg family accused of hiding a runaway teen surrendered to police on Friday.
Greensburg City Police said 59-year-old Esther Dreveniak was arraigned on Friday on concealment of the whereabouts of a child and interference with the custody of children for allegedly hiding a teenage girl in her apartment. She is now in jail in lieu of $65,000 bail.
Esther, her husband Thomas and son John all face charges related to the incident. John allegedly invited the 16-year-old girl to his residence after the two met through a mutual friend on October 4th, the day she ran away from a group home.
John is accused of sexually assaulting the teen during her stay, and also with providing her with alcohol and marijuana. Preliminary hearings for all three are set for November 15th.
