A survivor of the Holocaust spoke last night at a service at Seton Hill University.
The Tribune-Review reports that last night’s service in the St. Joseph Chapel at Seton Hill commemorated the 80th anniversary of what’s called the Kristallnacht, when Nazis killed Jewish people in Germany and sent 30,000 Jewish men to concentration camps. Homes, businesses and synagogues were also destroyed or vandalized during the incident on November 9th and 10th of 1938.
A featured speaker last night was 84-year-old Ruth Drescher, who asked those gathered to research what happened as well as remember.
