A South Greensburg firefighter was injured during a fire last night in Youngwood.
The Tribune-Review reports that the fire was inside a vacant storage building at the corner of Walnut Street and North First Street, and was reported around 5:30 PM Tuesday. It’s not certain how the fire started inside the two empty railroad cars that were put together to form a storage building, but it is a known shelter for the homeless.
The building was a total loss. One firefighter suffered a possible broken ankle.
