A Sewickley Township man charged with raping a mentally-challenged woman is now facing rape charges for another case.
The Tribune-Review reports that 74-year-old Wayne Edison Smith was arraigned on new allegations that stemmed from an incident this summer at his home on High Street. The woman claimed that Smith forced her to have sex with him despite her attempts to leave and escape and asking him to stop several times.
Smith was taken to jail on Friday, charged with raping a mentally-challenged woman multiple times in September. He is now in jail on a combined $450,000 bail. Preliminary hearings are set for December 10th.
