A man died from North Huntingdon died Thursday evening in a crash at the intersection of Route 30 and Cherry Tree Lane.
The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office identified 57-year-old Michael A. Iannace as the person who died. He was the lone occupant of a Jeep going west on Route 30 when a Hyundai Elantra going east on Route 30 went into the westbound lanes and hit the Jeep head-on.
While the airbags went off, the seat belt was not being used in the Jeep. An autopsy will be performed on December 7th. As of this time, the cause and manner of death are pending.
