Westmoreland County deputies found a woman who was wanted on several warrants hiding in a suitcase on Monday.
WTAE-TV reports that an arrest warrant was being executed for Terri Downs-Hayes after failing to show up for preliminary hearings. Deputies were told she was hiding in a home on Darr Street in Rostraver Township. When they showed up Monday, officers found a closet that was guarded by pit bulls, and then found Downs-Hayes inside the large zip-up suitcase. Deputies say that others in the house helped her hide in the suitcase.
Other charges are pending against Downs-Hayes and the people living at the Darr Street residence.
