A Philadelphia man was sentenced to three to six years in state prison in connection with a traffic stop that turned into a drug bust on the PA Turnpike.
The Tribune-Review reports that 23-year-old David Manuel Mora was sentenced on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police stopped him on the Turnpike in Mt. Pleasant, and after gaining consent to search his jeep, they found a hidden compartment containing 500 bricks of heroin worth about half a million dollars. The drugs were headed to the Pittsburgh area for distribution.
