The driver of a pick-up truck was seriously injured when the vehicle slammed into an unloaded school bus on Hyde Park Road in Allegheny Township.
The accident happened yesterday afternoon. According to the Tribune Review, the pick-up driver, identified as Leta Eckert of Vandergrift, was partially ejected from the vehicle and police, fire and EMS crews had to extract him from the wreckage.
Eckert reportedly suffered injuries to her head, legs and feet. The driver of the school bus was not injured.
