A Smithton man apparently went for a joyride in a stolen Jeep last month, a ride that has landed him in jail.
The Tribune Review reports Frank Porter was charged with a host of offenses following the incident on December 17th. Police say Frank Porter stole the customized Jeep from a parking lot in Wilkins Township. The Jeep was spotted several days later in Murrysville.
Police caught up with Porter in Ross Township where he was arrested. Porter faces a preliminary hearing on January 15th.
