Topic: The Westmoreland Community Development Department is preparing to submit a grant application for another round of HUD’s Lead Hazard Control and Health Homes funding. Since its inception, this program has made 97 homes in Westmoreland County lead-safe. Jennifer Woodling is our next guest on Westmoreland Community Connections; she is the assistant deputy director of community development for Westmoreland County. About Jennifer Miele
Jennifer has spent nearly two decades in Pittsburgh Television, first as a reporter for WTAE, then as the spokesperson and Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Excela Health. She is now host of The Catholic Accent television show on WTAE and Chief Communications Officer for the Diocese of Greensburg.
Jennifer and her teams have amassed dozens of accolades for their journalism and advertising work, including Emmy, Telly, Communicator and AVA Awards. In 2020, Jennifer was named Marketing Professional of the Year in North America by the Catholic Press Association. That same organization named her Communications Professional of the year in 2019.
She holds a master’s degree from Virginia Tech and an undergraduate degree from St. Vincent College. Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Jason Cinti, a Chiropractor in Harrison City, live in North Huntingdon with their two daughters Francesca (Frankie) and Vivienne (Vivi). They attend church at Immaculate Conception Parish in Irwin. Jennifer is head cheerleading coach for Queen of Angels Catholic School and sits on several alumni boards at St. Vincent College.
