A Jeannette man was sentenced yesterday for assaulting a man on the porch of his home last year.
The Tribune-Review reports that 40-year-old Marlon “Star” Williams pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment for the stabbing of 22-year-old Louis Bevilacqua. Police said Williams used a three-inch knife during a fight on June 13th at a home on South 12th Street to stab Bevilacqua.
Westmoreland County Judge Tim Krieger sentenced Williams to 11 and a half to 23 months in jail and six months on probation.
