Ligonier Township Firefighters were on the scene early this morning at home on Route 30 near Laughlintown.
WTAE-TV reports that several fire departments were called out at 11:35 PM last night to a home behind the Washington Furnace Inn. Westmoreland County 911 also reported that the State Police fire marshals have also been called to the scene to investigate.
There were no reported injuries.
Reports from the scene say that the tennant had set the house on fire, and then used a fire extinguisher over to a neighbor’s house and discharged it there. A motive behind the fire is not known at this time, but that man is now in custody.
