Three people and several pets were displaced after their home in Jeannette was damaged by fire.
The Tribune-Review reports that the home of Robert Rundle on Margaret Street caught fire around 7:00 PM. Firefighters were on the scene within two minutes and were able to keep the fire from spreading past the second floor. The Rundles were able to rescue three of their pets and firefighters were able to rescue the rest of their pets.
The family and pets are OK, and they are staying with relatives while the house’s damage is assessed. Authorities say that the fire was electrical in nature.
