The Greensburg-Salem School District has passed a resolution to not raise taxes for the next school year above a state-mandated limit.
The Tribune-Review reports that any tax increase for Greensburg-Salem will not go up beyond 2.72 mils, as established by the Act 1 index. Just because they have set the cap at 2.72 mils, they may not go to that maximum.
Last year, a similar cap was set, but the board did not raise taxes at all.
