Norwin School District reports a possible one million dollar budget deficit.
The Tribune Review reports that even if taxes are raised by the state maximum, it won;’t be enough to offset the deficit. Tonight the school board is expected to consider a resolution that would put a three percent cap on any tax increase for the coming school year.
The board is required to pass a balanced budget by June 30th.
