The company that operates bus and paratransit service for the Westmoreland County Transit Authority has racked up fines totaling $100,000 over the past four months.
According to the Tribune Review, National Express Transit was fined $20,000 in December for continued maintenance and operation failures. $60,000 in fines were imposed for problems in November and October on top of an additional $24,000 for September.
National Express Transit had no comment on the fines.
