
Gas prices are continuing a downward trend in Pennsylvania.
GasBuddy.com reports that across the state, the average cost of a gallon of gasoline is $2.46 a gallon, which is a half-a cent lower than last week, and is also 37 cents less than last year at this time.
As far as our area goes, the average cost of a gallon of gas in Westmoreland County is $2.43 a gallon, which is the same as Allegheny County. That’s actually the cheapest in the area, with the highest cost being Somerset County at $2.54 a gallon.
