More details have been released concerning the details of the hearing to declare Cassandra Gross legally dead.
The Tribune-Review reports that the hearing focused on the use of her financial information, the searches that have been going on for her since April of last year when she was reported missing, and other portions of the investigation that were not made public because of the sensitivity of the information.
Judge Chris Scherer ruled that Gross was the victim of a homicide. Gross’ mother and son both believe that her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Stanko, may have killed her, but a cause of death has not been positively found.
