Pennsylvania’s new Lt. Governor will go on a tour of town hall meetings in every county concerning the possible legalization of marijuana for recreational use.
Lt. Governor John Fetterman said that he wanted to start conversation on the topic, which some have seen as a new tax revenue for the state. Governor Tom Wolf said that gauging the interest of legalizing recreational marijuana is the responsible thing to do.
Right now, marijuana is only legal for medicinal purposes in Pennsylvania. No word yet on when Westmoreland County’s meeting will be or where.
