A family in the Sewickley Township area is left homeless as fire destroys their house earlier this morning.
WTAE-TV reports that fire broke out early this morning at the home of Malcolm Long. He woke when he heard his girlfriend’s stepfather screaming for everyone to get out. Long tried to put the fire out himself, but after that didn’t work, he got everyone up and out of the house.
The house was destroyed in the fire. No word yet on the cause.
