For the second time, a jury has been seated in the trial of 38-year-old Daniel DeAugustine of Greensburg.
The Tribune-Review reports that DeAugustine is facing charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and other crimes connected with the alleged sexual assaults of a then-15-year-old girl. A mistrial was declared in the first case after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
Opening arguments were held yesterday as well. The trial will continue today.
