A Derry Township man has been charged with raping and choking a Ligonier Township woman.
The Tribune-Review reports that 26-year-old Khachek Hamerski was arrested yesterday and charged with rape, sexual assault and strangulation among other offenses. Police said the assault happened last September as Hamerski went to the victim’s home early in the morning after a night out with friends and he forced her to have sex with him, even though she said “no” multiple times.
Hamerski is now being held in Westmoreland County Prison on $25,000 bond, with a February 16th preliminary hearing set.
