A man from Jeannette is now facing charges of theft after stealing the purse of his girlfriend’s roommate.
The Tribune-Review reports that 33-year-old Paul Fogle allegedly stole the purse just before the victim went on her vacation to Florida. In fact, she never went on that vacation, as she needed an ID card in that purse to get on a flight to Orlando.
The night before, police said she noticed her purse went missing just minutes after she saw Fogle in her bedroom at her apartment on Whiteman Street. She also had more than $7,000 in cash in her purse along with her debit card with her income tax return.
Fogle is now in jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, with a preliminary hearing set for February 21st.
