State Police are investigating the death of a cow in the Greensburg area as a case of animal cruelty.
Troopers say that on February 12th, Mark Feiling of New Alexandria was called by the owner of the property where his cow was around 3:00 PM, asking him why his tractor was being driven at 4 in the morning. Feiling didn’t know what the owner was talking about, and when he arrived at the farm, Feiling said he noticed his tractor was moved. He saw there was damage to the cow pasture gate, more than likely done by the tractor ramming the gate, and later on, Feiling found his cow dead.
Police also believe that a pickup truck had followed the tractor. Police have not identified any suspects as of yet.
