The Westmoreland Conservation District will host the first of two public Q&A sessions today to discuss the county’s integrated water resources plan.
The draft was completed last year, and every municipality now has a copy of it. It must be approved by the municipalities before it can be sent to the Department of Environmental protection for their approval.
Today’s Q&A session will be held tonight at 6:00 PM at the J. Roy Houston Conservation Center in Hempfield, while tomorrow’s session will be held at 3:00 PM.
