An assistant office manager for the Sheriff’s department has been suspended indefinitely without pay as she faces accusations of working on a political campaign while on company time.
The Tribune-Review reports that Tiffany Schomer was suspended. Sources at the courthouse said that Schomer was allegedly working on the campaign of another person who is running for a row house seat.
While Sheriff Jonathan Held declined to go into reasons for the suspension, he did say that Schomer was not a part of his political campaign.
