
Five people were displaced in a fire in the Jacob’s Creek area.
The Tribune-Review reports that crews from several fire department were called out to the home on Main Street just after 4:00 PM on Wednesday. Turkeytown Fire Chief Larry Nemec said that the house was a total loss, and he believes that the fire started in the kitchen and spread to the rest of the home.
There were no reported injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting the five people with temporary housing.
