Over the weekend, a State Trooper escaped severe injury after a tree landed on the rear-end of his patrol car.
The Tribune-Review reports that this happened around 9:37 PM on Sunday near Armbrust on Route 119. As the trooper noticed the tree was falling over, he accelerated and the tree hit the trunk area of the car.
The trooper was back at work on Monday.
