A Westmoreland County Deputy Sheriff has announced he will run for the Sheriff’s post.
The Tribune-Review reports that 55-year-old Steven Felder will run for the Republican nomination for Sheriff. He currently works in the sheriff’s office as a corporal in the warrants division. Felder will run against fellow Deputy Sam Pilato of Hempfield for the position.
Sheriff Jonathan Held announced earlier this year that he will seek re-election this year.
