A man from Delmont was arrested Saturday and charged with abusing a dependent care person in the parking lot of a personal care home in Jeannette.
The Tribune-Review reports that 69-year-old Robert F. Bender was allegedly trying to get the female victim into a car around 12:19 PM on Saturday when she started to complain. Witnesses saw bender strike the victim several times and they say the victim was “screaming and crying.”
Bender was released on his own recognizance yesterday and a preliminary hearing is set for March 12th.
