
A man who tried to use a fraudulent credit account to purchase more than $100,000 worth of laptop computers was arrested Saturday at a FedEx facility in Hempfield.
The Tribune-Review reports that 51-year-old Zack A. Adeoye, originally from Nigeria but living now in Baltimore, Maryland, was arrested by State Police around 1:40 PM on Saturday in an undercover sting at the shipping facility. He was apprehended as he tried to drive off with 28 computers that were purchased on a fraudulent credit account. The account he set up claimed he was the chief financial officer in Denora.
A preliminary hearing is set for March 13th.
