Developers who want to submit proposals for a downtown Greensburg hotel were given an extension until the end of the month.
The Tribune-Review reports that The Greensburg Community Development Corporation has extended the deadline until April 1st for developers to submit their proposals. Corporation officials said that some of the developers wanted more time to submit a quality proposal. Officials want a developer to pick up where a previous developer had left off concerning the property at 225 South Pennsylvania Avenue.
The previous developer had plans to turn the property into a 60-80 room hotel, but talks fell through last year.
