The average price of a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania is $2.65 a gallon, which is up 15 cents from this time last month. As far as Westmoreland County goes, the average price of gas is $2.68, a few cents higher than the state average. As far as surrounding counties go, the cheapest is Fayette, but it is only a penny cheaper than Westmoreland at $2.67 a gallon, while Indiana County is the highest among neighboring counties at $2.74 a gallon.
