As far as Westmoreland County goes, the average price of gas is $2.68, a few cents higher than the state average. As far as surrounding counties go, the cheapest is Fayette, but it is only a penny cheaper than Westmoreland at $2.67 a gallon, while Indiana County is the highest among neighboring counties at $2.74 a gallon.
