
An armed suspect that was shot by police in Greensburg died in the hospital.
WTAE-TV reports that Greensburg police were called out to Grant Street after reports of a woman firing shots at a vehicle going by on the street. When officers arrived, the woman was inside the house, and they heard screaming inside the home. Officers began giving commands for her to leave. When she came out, she was holding a gun. After she refused to drop the gun, police fired a beanbag round at the woman. The woman then fired shots at the police, and officers returned fire.
The identity of the shooter is not known at this time, and it’s not known how many officers were involved.
