A man from Jeannette was placed in jail on charges of child pornography possession.
The Tribune-Review reports that 75-year-old Curtis House is charged with having numerous child pornography files on his computer. An investigator was lead to his house after several files were shared through a peer-to-peer sharing service. Authorities found 30 child porn files on the computer. When asked by investigators, House said he didn’t understand why that type of pornography was illegal because he didn’t think anyone was getting hurt.
A preliminary hearing is set for April 18th. He is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
